Mika Ross, Therapist | Relationship Coach to Move Marriage Counseling Practice to St. Louis County2/7/2015 ![]() Dearest Client (who lives close to my office), I’m writing to let you know some exciting news….that might make your heart sink a little bit; there’s a FOR SALE sign in my front yard. That’s right, we’re moving. The good news is that we’re not moving to the moon, or even out of state. We’re moving east, closer to the city, so that our lives can be a little more balanced (my husband’s work is WAY downtown). I think I can hear my St. Louis County clients cheering from here. We have a general idea of where we’re moving and I’m thinking my office will be somewhere near Des Peres. We think we will move sometime this Spring. How’s that for clarity? When I have more certainty about this you will be the first to know. Promise. Des Peres ? Kirkwood ? Glendale ?I’m mostly excited about this new adventure, but I’m worried you’ll feel like I’m leaving you…and I’m also worried you’ll go away, or think that I want you to go away. We talk about things you might not talk about with anyone else. I might be involved in the nooks and crannies of your relationship at a level that is ridiculously intimate. Maybe we’ve dug deep into issues, patterns, and mindsets and we’re just starting to dig our way out. Maybe we’ve done some big work in the past and you just check in when you get a little off-track and it’s nice just knowing I’m here. The thing that I think makes this more complicated than other relationships is that you pay me to dig really deep into the depths of who you are and what you’re going through so that you can get results you’ve never gotten, but I want you to know…this is NEVER just a business transaction for me. I care deeply about you and how you’re doing. I think about you when you’re not here. I look forward to our meetings and wonder what progress you’ve made this week (even if it doesn’t feel like progress to you). I would still love to be your ally even if I am 25 miles away….if, and ONLY if, you feel like this is what is best for you. The great news is that there are lots of ways we can make this happen. THIS I am very certain about. I have clients in Illinois, Tennessee, Georgia, and Wisconsin. We do sessions by video conference with Skype or by phone with the SAME BIG RESULTS you’re getting through our in-person meetings. Some people have preferences for one or the other, and some clients do every-other session in person, and sessions in-between by phone. There are lots of options for us to stay connected and continue our work, but I want you to find an option that feels best for you. I will be so happy to talk to you more about this if you have any questions, hesitations, concerns, or even if your heart sinks and you’re not exactly sure why. Schedule a FREE call if you’d like to talk about this more. Everything is figureoutable, If you're interested in becoming a new client (meaning you've never been a client before) at my St. Louis County location please contact me here and I'll put you on my new client waiting list. You'll get updates on the move and more information about how to set up a free consultation and first appointment sent directly to your email.

Mika - If you are looking for an office, please check out The Relationship Center of St. Louis, it is in STL County in Creve Couer off of Olive. Bill and Linda Wing own the place, and it is a non-office, office. Seriously, they are wonderful therapists, and do a lot of marriage counseling. They currently have an "office" open.
